After many years in the stock and station industry in the Central West region, Peter moved to the Upper Hunter in 1990 as Branch Manager for Wesfarmers Dalgety with his family, and then in 1996 converted the branch to the Landmark Townsend franchise.
Over the years, Peter has gained experience in livestock, wool, property, merchandise, insurance and administration and has enjoyed watching the company grow from 4 to 13 staff.
Peter is married to Trish (also a Director) who looks after livestock and insurance accounts. They have three children (Kate, Melissa and James) whom they are very proud of.
Peter has a keen interest in thoroughbred racing and breeding, and is a Director of the Scone Race Club. Peter is also a patron of Scone Public School’s P&C which is a testament to his dedication and involvement in the community.
Rural lifestyle and living has always been Peter’s goal and he feels lucky to be involved in an industry which is so closely connected.
